“Europe’s Best Buildings. Mies Van Der Rohe Award 2015” at Architekturzentrum Wien

Every two years the exhibition “Europe’s Best Buildings. The European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture. Mies van der Rohe Award” places a focus on exceptional visionary architecture, and has become a crowd-puller over recent years. For the 4th time the exhibition of this prestigious architecture prize is on show at the Architekturzentrum Wien.

Since its inception in 1988 the prize-money of € 60,000 has been awarded to such famous names as David Chipperfield, Zaha Hadid, Peter Zumthor or Rem Koolhaas. To promote young talent and architects at the outset of their careers the Emerging Architect Special Mention prize was called into life, promoting ambitious, up-and-coming architecture.
