“Gianni Avon: Architectures in Lignano 1954-1972”

The exhibition curated by the practice Avon Architetti Associati in collaboration with Ferruccio Luppi, offers a selection of works representative as much as possible of the author’s personality and makes it easy to spot the location of the architectures, so that the visitors are encouraged to discover and admire them by their own.

The exhibition “Gianni Avon: Architectures in Lignano 1954-1972” will be  remain open until 8 September at the Sea Terrace (Terraza a Mare). On September 9 it will be transferred to the civic center Sandro Pertini until the end of the month. The exhibition is organized by the city of Lignano and is curated by Ferruccio Luppi with the study Architects Avon Udine. Gianni Avon, born in Udine in 1922, where he lived and worked until 2006, the year of his death, he studied at the Faculty of Architecture of Venice  ( Carlo Scarpa and Bruno Zevi were some of his teachers).  (more…)
