#caseando: Prototype devices of self-produced housing at Madrid

“La Casa Encendida” and “Vivero de Iniciativas Ciudadanas” propose #caseando a week of microworkshops to reflect on other models of possible home for the configuration of a new collective space in the contemporaneous city.

#caseando includes the series “Encounters and Initiatives for Urban Empowerment” known as # 6ciudades held last year at La Casa Encendida and whose key concepts are housing and urban space and citizen empowerment. Issues such as New Economies, Cohousing, Care Public Space are taken this year to a more specific level, where collective debates turn into a practical workshops.

The program is divided into three phases, prototype design; building the prototype and a third one in which everything built  will be shown to the public at La Casa in #caseando exhibition. (more…)
