BigMat ’17 International Architecture Award winners shortlist revealed!

Learn who are the 15 selected teams eligible for the BigMat International Architecture Award Grand Prize, 6 National Prizes, 6 Category Prizes and the Public Prize, which will be unveiled during the awards ceremony on the 24th of November in Florence, Italy.

With the final closing of the Public Choice Award, on Tuesday 24th of October, the definitive list of the BigMat International Architecture Award 2017 winners has been revealed.

The list of winners comprises Multiple Architecture & Urbanisme from Belgium, A69 Architekti and H3T Architekti from the Czech Republic, Éric Lapierre Experience, Lacaton & Vassal and MUOTO from France, C+S Architects from ItalyAlvaro Siza Vieira + Eduardo Souto de Moura, João Mendes Ribeiro and Menos é Mais, Pedro Matos Gameiro and Pedro Mauricio Borges from Portugal, ZEROZERO from Slovakia and José María Sánchez García, Mansilla + Tuñón Arquitectos and MGM Arquitectos from Spain.

The winners of the 2017 BigMat International Public Prize -awarded with 1.500€- will be revealed, along with the rest of the BigMat International Architecture Awards – 6 National Prizes, 6 Category Prizes, 1 Special Mention for Young Architects and the Grand Prize-  on Friday the 24th of November at the awards ceremony in Florence.

Winners revealed for the BigMat ’15 International Architecture Award

The BigMat Group, distributors of construction materials, has announced the winners of its BigMat ’15 International Architecture Award, in its second international edition. Alberto Campo Baeza follows Xaveer De Geyter —last edition’s winner— as Grand Prize.

The awards ceremony took place on Friday, November 20th, at the BOLLE Festsäle building in Berlin, in the presence of the 18 teams of architects competing for the grand prize, the members of the international panel of judges and the companies making up the BigMat Group. The selected 18 finalists were chosen from the initial selection of 100 participating teams of architects disclosed last June.
