Modernist icon La Pedrera to host retrospective on sculptor Jorge Oteiza

The exhibition, open until January 22nd, brings together sculptural pieces, drawings and collages by the Basque artist in a major retrospective in Barcelona.

The works by Spanish artist, sculptor and intellectual Jorge Oteiza (1908 – 2003) are the protagonists of one of the key exhibitions this fall in Barcelona, showing at one of the most celebrated historical buildings of the city: La Pedrera. Casa Milà, or “La Pedrera“, as it is commonly called, is the last civil building designed by Antoni Gaudi, Barcelona’s art nouveau icon, and is now host of the cultural centre of the Catalunya-La Pedrera Foundation.
