18 finalists revealed for the BigMat International Architecture Award ’15

BigMat has announced the 18 finalists in the competition for the 2015 edition of its biennial BigMat International Architecture Award. The Grand Prize, National Prizes and runners-up will be disclosed in the Awards Ceremony in Berlin on November 20.

BigMat International has announced the 18 finalists in the competition for the 2015 edition of its biennial architecture award. The selected finalists were chosen from the initial selection of 100 participating teams of architects disclosed last June. Representing both emerging and established practices with offices in the six countries eligible for the Award, the shortlisted entries show the great diversity of the projects presented, both in scale and nature of the architecture itself. BigMat ’15 International Architecture Award unveils the 100 selected projects

The BigMat International Architecture Award is proud to present a selection of 100 projects –out of the over 750 applicants– which will compete to enter the final selection of 18 projects eligible for the Grand Prize of 30,000€.

The members of the Jury of the 2015 BigMat International Architecture Award have selected 100 projects out of the over 750 presented in this second edition of the Prize. President Jesús Aparicio and Secretary Jesús Donaire, along with the rest of the members of the jury –Olivier Bastin (Belgium), Martin Rajnis (Czech Republic), Antonio Ortiz (Spain), Henry Ciriani (France) Francesco Dal Co (Italy), Manuel Aires Mateus (Portugal)– met in Paris last June 10th in order to select the top 100 projects from the six countries participating in the 2015 edition of the BigMat Award: Spain, Italy, France, Belgium, Czech Republic and, for the first time this year, Portugal.
