The third edition of the BigMat International Architecture Award winners shortlist have been revealed! Learn all about the 14 teams of architects who will be competing for BigMat Grand Prize following previous editions’ winners Xaveer De Geyter and Alberto Campo Baeza.

On Tuesday 24th of October the final shortlist of this year’s BigMat Award was made public. The list comprises 14 teams of architects from the 7 countries in which BigMat International is present -Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Portugal, Slovakia and Spain- featuring a wide array of project typologies and architectural aproaches. All of these 14 teams will be competing for any of 6 National Prizes, 6 Category Prizes, 1 Public Prize, and most importantly, the BigMat International Grand Prize, awarded with 30,000 €.

The list of winners comprises Multiple Architecture & Urbanisme from Belgium, A69 Architekti from the Czech Republic, Éric Lapierre Experience, Lacaton & Vassal and MUOTO from France, C+S Architects from ItalyAlvaro Siza Vieira + Eduardo Souto de Moura, João Mendes Ribeiro and Menos é Mais, Pedro Matos Gameiro and Pedro Mauricio Borges from Portugal, ZEROZERO from Slovakia and José María Sánchez García, Mansilla + Tuñón Arquitectos and MGM Arquitectos from Spain.
