Fondazione MAXXI to host preparation party for Outdoor Festival 2015

MAXXI Roma is hosting this evening, Thursday 30th of July, a meeting to discuss the sixth edition of the yearly festival celebrated on the grounds of the contemporary arts museum in the Ostiense area.

MAXXI Roma is hosting this afternoon, Thursday 30th of July, a meeting to discuss the sixth edition of the yearly festival celebrated on the grounds of the contemporary arts museum in the Ostiense area.

Focusing on concepts such as space and time, this year’s instalment will be called “Here, Now“, revolving around “the use of art in the processes of urban regeneration, as a key allowing the public access to the dynamics of transformation affecting the territory and as a means of communication for the city on an international level.” It is schelduled to take place from 2 to 31 October, 2015.

This afternoon’s event aims to join the different perspectives of the speakers involved with the spontaneus input of the people attending the event. Speakers invited are Francesco Dobrovich, Antonella Di Lullo, Marco Della Chiara, Renato Fontana, Alexandros Vasmoulakis, and the team at Graphik Surgery (Gysbert Sybren Zijlstra and Erris Dirk Huigens).

Also, a small afterparty with a live set by MAD-D e BVRGER will take place from 10.00 PM onwards. The event will be held on the MAXXI piazza, which is currently hosting this year’s summer installation: Great Land, by CORTE.
