One month left to vote for the BigMat International Award 2017 Public Prize!

Until October 24, 2017 you can vote for any three of your favourite projects among the 87 shortlisted in the BigMat International Architecture Award. Voting is open for all citizens residing in any of the participating countries: Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

As the time left for the final announcement of this year’s Grand Prize shortens, preparations start for the edition’s Public Prize. From July 24, following the announcement of the finalists for the International Architecture Award 2017, the competition was opened to the public by allowing you to vote for your favorite individual or team. Any three of the 87 selected shortlisted projects  are eligible for the Public Prize by voting in BigMat International Architecture Award’s official website

The voting period closes on October 24, 2017. The winner of the Public Prize 2017 will be announced along with the other six categories – Architecture, Sustainability, City and Landscape, Restoration, Interior Design and Ephemeral Architecture – at the BigMat International Architecture Award ceremony on 24 November in Florence.  (more…)

Out of a total of almost nine hundred projects presented across the seven European countries taking part in the Award (Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Portugal), the panel of judges chaired by Jesús Aparicio and comprising Xaveer de Geyter (Belgium), Henrieta Moravčíková (Czech Republic + Slovakia), Marc Barani (France), Francesco Isidori (Italy), Paulo David (Portugal + Spain), and awards secretary Jesús Donaire, singled out 87  projects to be shortlisted.  (more…)

BigMat’17 International Architecture Award’s ‘Public Prize’ voting period opens

Vote for your three favourite projects among the 87 shortlisted to win this year’s newly-introduced Public Prize! The online voting period starts July 24 and will be open for all citizens residing in any of the participating countries: Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Following the announcement of this year’s finalists for the International Architecture Award 2017, we have now opened the competition to the public – you can now vote for your favorite individual or team to win the Public Prize. BigMat’17 International Architecture Award submissions recap

The BigMat’17 International Architecture Award registration and submission period is over with more than 900 applications received. What’s next? This year’s edition awards the best European architecture with 70.000€ and the addition of a new online voting Popular Prize.

This year’s application period for the Big Mat International Architecture Award was closed on May 26, with an unprecendented number of submissions: over 900 applicants from all 7 BigMat countries -Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, Czech Republic and Slovakia- have submitted their works for the latest edition of BigMat’s biennial prize.
